November Meeting
The Society will hold the November meeting on:
Monday, November 10, 2008 at 7:30 pm.
Knox Presbyterian Church
Please present your membership card at the door. There is a $5 admission for visitors.
What could be more inviting than spending one evening a month with an enthusiastic group of people who share your interest and passion in gardening? Our meetings feature a variety of guest speakers, a library with books, periodicals and videos, and displays of horticulture (flowers and plants) along with decorative flower arrangements.
There is a draw table where you could win a plant or a gardening accessory. Meetings conclude with complimentary tea, coffee and home made goodies. it is a great evening of fun, knowledge sharing and enjoyment!
The Society meets in the upstairs hall of Knox Presbyterian Church at the corner of Dunn St. and Lakeshore Rd. E. at 7:30 pm on the second Monday of the month, except for October (Thanksgiving), when the meeting night is changed as advised in the monthly newsletter. During the summer months of July and August there are no meetings.
The Annual General Meeting, with the induction of the Executive, is held in December.
Cancellations of scheduled meetings due to bad weather are announced on CHWO, Radio 740.
